Open Arms Program Information
The Open Arms Program is a 24-month
transitional housing program that assists victims of domestic violence
and their children by providing a safe and secure place to live. In
addition to housing, families receive food and clothing, counseling and
education and employment assistance. The program gives women and their
children the emotional and spiritual encouragement they need to start a
new life as well as the skills and resources to become independent and
self-sufficient.

Open Arms Service Area
The Open Arms Program serves victims of
domestic violence primarily in Tarrant County but there isn’t a
geographic limitation on a woman’s past residence.
The program is based on a seven acre
secure campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The campus houses up to 12 women and
their children at any point in time. The program also owns a quad- plex
and has access to other housing in the area. In total, Open Arms can
house up to 20 families at any point in time.
