Celebrating 20 Years of Serving Our Community! The Community Enrichment Center’s mission is to restore hope, share God’s love and change lives in our community. Major programs of the CEC include:
There are a number of ways you can support the CEC’s efforts to help families in need. · Back-to-School Carnival: an annual event being held August 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for families in CEC programs. The Carnival includes a variety of fun activities and entertainment. Each child receives a new school outfit and school supplies. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to assist with set up and coordinate activities. To “adopt” a child and provide clothes and school supplies, contact Donna Riddick. For information about the Carnival click here. · CEC Annual Golf Classic: being held September 30 at Iron Horse Golf Club, the tournament includes a catered lunch, round of golf, fun contests and golf gifts for each player. Sponsors, players and volunteers are needed. Proceeds benefit the CEC’s mission and programs. Guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch, fun style show with fashions by the Hurst Stein Mart and inspirational speaker Sarah Ivey. Proceeds from Seasons of Hope benefit the Open Arms Program.
