has the potential to succeed. By providing everyone with the proper educational
and career tools we are providing a pathway to success. Education & Employment
Services helps participants improve their job opportunities and earning power.

How we can help:
The CEC empowers
people to reach their educational and career goals by providing GED preparation
and adult literacy classes. Through personalized assessments, workshops and classes,
the CEC also assists participants with college planning, scholarship searches
and college financial aid applications. Class Schedule:
Tuesdays 6 pm – 9 pm
Saturdays 10 am – 1pm
Orientation/Assessment Schedule: Each participant recieves a GED assessment to set learning goals. Assessments are done by appointment only contact the Literacy
for Life Coordinator at 817-281-1164 ext. 142.
New student orientation is held the first Thursday of every month at 4:45 pm. You must call the Literacy for Life Coordinator to schedule your orientation. Fell free to leave a message stating your name, phone number and if you need childcare including number of children and their age.

Job Club helps adults improve their job opportunities and
earning power. Staff assists each participant with resume preparation, interview
skills, online job search and occupational skills training.
New Job Club participants are required to attend a Job Club Orientation held Tuesday or Thursday from 10 to 11:15 am. Workshop times are the last Tuesday of the month 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Computer Classes are held Wednesday 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Class size is limited to 14 students per class.

The CEC’s Resource Center is open to the public, adults may use the Resource Center
for online job search and resume preparation.
Resource Room Hours:
Monday 10 am – 5:30 pm
Tuesday 10 am – 7 pm
Thursday 10 am - 6 pm
Friday 10 am – 2 pm
