Literacy for Life & High School Equivalency (GED) Preparation

The CEC empowers people to reach their educational and career goals by providing High School Equivalency Certification (GED) classes and adult literacy classes. Through personalized assessments, workshops and classes, the CEC also assists participants with college planning, scholarship searches and college financial aid applications.

Class Schedule:

Tuesdays 7 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturdays 10 am – 1pm


Orientation/Assessment Schedule:

Each participant receives an assessment to set learning goals. Assessments are done by appointment only contact the Education Coordinator at 817-281-1164 ext. 142.

New student orientation is held the first Thursday of every month at 4:45 pm. You must call the Education Coordinator at 817-281-1164 ext. 142 to schedule your orientation. Feel free to leave a message stating your name, phone number and if you need childcare including number of children and their age.
