Ron Parish - Community Ministries Director

Ron Parish has been with the Community Enrichment Center for 10 years.  Currently, he is the Director of Community Ministries for CEC.  In this position, he directs operations of the Food Pantry, Senior Network, Single Parent-Family Network, Homeless Prevention and Neighborhood Revitalization Project for the agency.As a former police officer, he has served the community in various capacities. For several years, he and his wife, Judy, were house parents at Christ’s Haven Children’s Home in Keller.

Having a heart for people in need, he has traveled to Africa on mission trips with his church, The Hills Church.  In 2004, he visited Sri Lanka during the aftermath of the tsunami and helped establish long term rebuilding efforts there.  In 2005 and 2006 he spent approximately 9 months in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina helping to establish and direct rebuilding efforts in a joint project with The Hills Church, CEC and Bread for a Hungry World.
