Every day, thousands of people in Tarrant County go hungry or suffer food insecurity (not knowing where or when the next meal will come). Many families suffer from poor nutrition because they do not have the means or the knowledge to provide a healthy diet.
Last year our Food Pantry provided free grocery assistance to more than 30,000 individuals. The Food Pantry serves low or no income households in 17 zip codes of Northeast Tarrant County. Many of these are senior or disabled households living on low, fixed income, many are single parents with children…all of them need that helping hand up to regain stability.
Our Food Pantry also partners with agencies like Tarrant Area Food Bank to provide nutritional education and cooking classes at no charge to the families who utilize our services.
Our Food Pantry depends on donations from individuals, churches and corporate partnerships.
