Randy joined the Community Enrichment Center as Executive Director in January of 1996. He graduated from Denton High School in 1973 and Abilene Christian University in 1978. Prior to coming to the CEC, Randy was Director of Recruiting at Abilene Christian University, opened a restaurant in Granbury and spent 13 years in the banking industry in the DFW area. He has been married to his wife Debbie for 27 years and they have adult twin children. Randy serves on many boards and is Chairman of the Northeast Chamber of Commerce, Immediate Past Chair of the Texas Homeless Network and Tarrant County Continuum of Care for the Homeless, is a member of the Northeast Lions Club and serves on the Northeast Leadership Forum Board. He is a class leader for The Hills Church of Christ. During his tenure the CEC has seen tremendous growth. The CEC has purchased 64 houses, 20 townhomes and 104 apartments to provide homeless and affordable housing for families. The organization currently has become financially stable and currently operates debt free. In 2006, Randy oversaw the merger of the CEC with the Open Arms Home, Inc. domestic violence program. During his tenure, the CEC expanded services to include Adult Literacy, Job Club, Financial Literacy, Free Tax Preparation, and Senior Network. Randy assisted in acquiring the Second Glance Resale Shop which is a vital source of ongoing revenue to benefit the CEC.
